Martin Stone

Martin Stone has operated at main board level in a number of multi-disciplinary contractors, all of which operated almost exclusively within the public sector. The companies all carried out refurbishment, new build and day-to-day maintenance in the affordable housing, education and other sectors funded by the Government. He was largely responsible for pre-construction activities, marketing and strategy and spent eight years at a large regional social housing contractor overseeing growth from £30 million to £300 million.

In 2006, Martin attended a breakfast meeting in Number 10, hosted by the Prime Minister, to discuss the future of social housing in the UK. Martin co-founded Zenexus in early 2010 following over 25 years in the industry beginning as a draughtsman, then manager of a concrete production works before becoming a director of what is now a £1billion turnover contractor. His aim is to provide employers in the Construction Industry sectors with the best candidates for their business by using his wealth of experience in the industry to identify the most talented individuals.
